School administrator setup

ClassPulse reads the courses and dates a student can already access. Each student approves access in Blackboard.

In the Learn Administrator Panel, open Integrations → REST API Integrations.
Create an integration with the ClassPulse Application ID. Follow your school’s process for selecting a least-privilege integration user.
Enable End User Access and allow the student to authorize the app as themselves.
Save. Ask the student to retry Connect with Blackboard in ClassPulse Settings.

How ClassPulse handles Blackboard data

Blackboard data

ClassPulse reads student course memberships, gradebook due dates, calendar entries, announcements, and supported course content. The app encrypts credentials and removes them when the student disconnects.

Optional Gemini analysis of course text requires the student’s separate AI processing consent.
